Welcome to Big Springs Farm! We are located conveniently in Simpsonville Kentucky in the heart of Shelby County. We provide horse boarding, training, and riding lessons for the Louisville KY equestrian community.

Big Springs farm is owned and managed by Catherine “Cat” Fortener (which is me! ).

We also occasionally have horses for sale that *may* be available to prospective purchasers. I say *may* because I strive to provide a good home for our 4 legged friends. Horses and their persons must be a good match for one another. If a person isn’t a good match for the horse – it doesn’t matter if you want to buy the horse or not, it won’t be for sale. I put the horses needs first.
